Donor-Supported Ministry

What is a "Faith-Supported" or "Donor-Supported" Missionary?

pbc18ns4382.jpg

Faith-supported or "donor-supported" missionaries play an essential role in ministry by trusting God to provide for their financial needs through the generosity of individuals and churches. These missionaries actively share their financial needs, inviting others to join them in their work by becoming monthly partners—both prayerfully and financially. Unlike many organizations, our ministry does not provide salary support for full-time staff missionaries. Instead, they rely completely on the faithful generosity of donors like you.

Missionaries receive a monthly paycheck based solely on the donations designated for them from the previous month. Monthly recurring donations are especially important because they provide the consistency needed for us to budget effectively, plan for the future, and meet the ongoing needs of our missionaries. Your support is not only impactful but also tax-deductible, allowing you to be a good steward of your financial resources while making an eternal impact.

This model of support is deeply rooted in Scripture, following the example of the Apostle Paul, who was sustained by God through the generosity of His people. By partnering with missionaries, you become an integral part of their ministry—blessing them and being blessed in return. As a financial partner, you’ll see firsthand how God works through your faithfulness to transform lives for eternity. Your recurring gift helps sustain vital ministry work, bringing hope to countless lives and ensures that our missionaries can stay focused on their calling.

How to Support Our Missionaries:

  • Pray for their needs: Your prayers are essential for the success of our ministry. Pray that our staff will:

    • Impact the lives of students with the Gospel.

    • Faithfully disciple students throughout the year.

    • Stay encouraged, biblically rooted, and focused on their calling.

    • Raise their portion of the ministry’s budget each year, freeing them to dedicate their time fully to the ministry.

Every full-time staff member of Ponderosa Student Ministries/Ponderosa Bible Camp is faith-supported, relying on God’s provision through the generosity of ministry partners like you. Will you join us in this life-changing work and become a monthly financial partner today? Your commitment makes an extraordinary difference!
